You start your tour by visiting the Hippodrome where the Romans were racing by chariots once upon a time. It was built by The Roman emperor. The Byzantines used the Hippodrome as a meeting point also. Today, it is the central point of Historical Peninsula in Istanbul and you can see the Egyptian Obelisk, Column of Constantine and Serpent Column. Visit the Blue Mosque which was built by Ottoman Sultan Ahmet I. in 1609-1616. It is the only Ottoman mosque which one has six minarets and named by its blue tiles.
After the mosque your guide takes you to the Topkapi Palace which was built by Ottoman Sultan Mehmet II. in 1465-1478 and where the sultans lived there until 19.c. In the palace you can see the Ottoman treasures, the holy relics of Prophet Mohammed, kiosks, lots of exhibition rooms.
Visit to Hagia Sophia. According to many architects it is one of the most magnificent Roman buildings in the world. It was built by Roman Emperor Justinian I. 532-527 as a Orthodox master church. In 1453 it was converted into a mosque by the Ottomans, now it is only a museum. Hagia Sophia has history, culture, mosaics, frescoes, calligraphies...
The last stop is the Grand Bazaar which was built by The Ottoman Sultan Mehmet II in 1461 as market, with 5500 stores, 63 streets and 22 gates it has been the one of the oldest and largest market for centuries. After free time for shopping you meet with your guide and return to your hotel…
